words adapted from a passage by g. koizumi, shihan, and desciptive of the principle of water, [5th principle]
there are 6 principles that are over-arching the technique, and art of Ido, one of which is, the [5th principle], the principle of [water], having no shape, or set form, for example, and these 6 principles of ido [must] be well accomplished [before] they are applied or intergrated, [to preserve form], into goshinjutsu or taiho jutsu techniques
one of the things in the universe that is [infinite], is [energy], from the largest galaxy, to the smallest atom, [there is energy], and the great shihan, [masters], of [tai chi, aikido, Ido] ect, understood these [laws of energy] in their martial arts teachings, and therein lies the key as to why prof. strauss called his art Ido, meaning the [infinite way], not because of an endless amount of movements or techniques, but because [energy is infinite], and in Ido we study it, in all its forms.
